Frequently asked questions

How much does a certified translation or apostille cost?

Prices depend on the type and length of the document, the languages, the destination country and how quickly you need it. Send us a scan or photo and we will reply with a tailored quote.

How long does it take?

Short personal documents are often translated within a few business days. Apostilles and embassy legalizations depend on the processing times of the authorities involved. We give you a realistic timeline with every quote and tell you when express handling is possible.

What is the difference between an apostille and legalization?

An apostille is a single certificate accepted by countries that belong to the Hague Apostille Convention. In Belize it is issued by the Registrar General. Countries outside the Convention require legalization instead: certification by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed by the destination country's embassy or consulate.

Will my translation be accepted?

Each receiving authority sets its own rules. We ask where your document is going and prepare it accordingly — certified, notarized, apostilled or legalized.
